The NonProfit Roundtable of Greater Washington- The NonProfit Roundtable works to build strength, visibility and influence of the nonprofit community in order to create a more just and caring community in Greater Washington. The Roundtable's members range from advocacy organizations, direct serving providers, granters and corporate partners all working together to solve regional problems.
The Center for Non-Profit Advancement-Since 1979, the Center for Nonprofit Advancement has strengthened, promoted and represented its member nonprofit organizations throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. We connect our members to the tools and resources they need to meet their missions.Center members are a diverse group of large and small nonprofits serving communities in Greater Washington, across the nation and around the world.
The Foundation Center- The Foundation Center Washington offers free and fee based training opportunities around how to better connect with the philanthropic community. Topics range from grant writing and relationship building to what to do after you get a grant and how to effectively network with the corporate community.
Catalogue for Philanthropy Greater Washington- The Catalogue highlights promising practices of community based organizations in the region and spotlights there strengths to potential donors.
Fair Chance DC- Fair Chance builds the capacity of non-profit organizations that strive to imporve the live of underserved children and youth living in Wards 5,6,7 and 8. In free,year-long partnerships Fair Chance identifies promising organizations and works with them to increased their organizational capacity to to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of programming.
